Video

Video is a great way to market your product. In this example, the creator uses comedy to advertise his product, but you can also attract the user's attention with a sad video, a shocking or even disturbing video, or just a discussion depending on what you are trying to sell.

The important thing, if it is an advertisement, is that you attract the user's attention in the first five seconds.

Though it says "guide" at the top, this is clearly a rant. The publisher uses his own opinion of posting to create content and not analytics or facts. But this is actually a good thing, since it can feel a little more personal as one guy talking to another, instead of the official-looking boorishness of an analytics page.

Guides are a useful tool for users of your product or people thinking of buying your product. It gives insightful information on how to best use it and how to use it to it's full potential. Though this guide feels a little like the rant example above, this was actually made by a group of people who debated, tested, and decided what would be the best way to use this product, and what people would want help with most.

When creating a guide, be sure to take time to make it lengthy, adding as much info as you think the customers will need.

How to's are a big hit in the digital world. All you need to do to create one is find a problem in anything and find the best solution to that problem. You can have a how to page just for your company, or you can post it onto other pages like "WikiHow" to get a broader audience. Be sure to include as much detail as possible so people don't get confused, and you can add helpful pictures or diagrams to help them understand.

Lists attract peoples attention. The number at the top appeals to large groups of people and you can make lists on anything. In fact, the website you gave us to base the assignment off of is a list, which I put as the example. 

Lists can be posted anywhere, from blogs to magazines, and will attract people attention for a shot while. But of the others, probably not the one I would chose, as most people I know don't naturally like lists. Be sure that it is relevant to the times.

eBooks

eBooks are a really nice touch to your business. They are downloadable electronic books filled with information about your company and your product. They can be used for something simple like a company brochure, or as lengthy as an instruction manual or product list. eBooks should be lengthy and informative, as well as easy to read, so make sure you have a good writer and a good graphic designer on your team.

Podcasts on the other hand are very simple to make. Podcasts are a personality speaker advertising or being funded by your business. If you want to make one yourself, all you need is a microphone, a room that's fairly quiet, and a place to upload them. You can upload them to your company site, or upload them to a large collection of podcasts to get more publicity. Podcasts should be consistent and fun to listen to.

Interviews

Interviews add the personal knowledge of an individual to your product. There are many ways to interview, and several different people you can interview, like customers or product managers. Each will add their insightful opinion of your product and help build trust with your audience.

Meme making is a quick funny way to get your customer's attention. you can post it on social media or even put it up on posters if your good enough. It should be a simple phrase that they can see just passing by or scrolling by. Then people will start to spread it. Trouble is, these memes die quickly, so you'll have to use it in a combination of advertising techniques.

Infographics are whats in the name: a graphic with information. These can be added to your company website or brochure to give a short description of what your product/service is about. These usually only take up a page, and are statistically the most popular content put out by companies. Infographics should be neatly designed with relevant information.
